Hello, and thanks for reading.  I am an avid reader, mostly of Epic Fantasy, though I do read some Sci-fi, Steampunk, and the occasional Urban Fantasy.  I also enjoy some historical fiction, as well as the history they are based on.  While I read mostly mainstream fiction, I am also not opposed to self published works. Reviews also posted on Goodreads.  I also post on various forums under the name SkynJay.  I can be contacted here.

I'm a fan of character-driven fantasy with an original twist, whether on an epic or more human scale, with occasional forays into other branches of speculative fiction, but avoiding vampires, zombies, gods, angels and demons wherever  possible. I am an omnivorous reader but there are some genres which appeal to me more than others, urban fantasy and paranormal romance among them. Still I have my issues with the 'romance' part so do not expect me to gush over a book which is a very sweet and cute and cuddly example of romantic fiction, paranormal or otherwise. I am allergic to pink.I am active on Goodreads and I write my own blog as well.
